Settling in

Three nights and I’m finally feeling really rested. Except for the very windy night before the last leg, I’ve slept well, but juggling travelling, work, rv stuff and thinking about Bear and Auggie…it subtly catches up.

Auggie is doing much better than I anticipated at being an indoor cat for the trip. It helps that the inside of the motorhome is kind of a cat “jungle gym”…

… lots of things to climb, jump onto and into, go under, etc.

And plenty of windows up high to watch the goings on in the neighborhood: deer, turkeys, dogs, cats, people and a lot of birds.

Bear keeps an eye out mostly from the dash where he also keeps me company when I’m working.

We are all settling in to a different routine and enjoying the change and time with family.

Glad you are feeling rested and everyone is settling in. Does Auggie go outside now?

Auggie is going to be indoor cat for this trip. I’ve carried him out and he seems more comfortable with that and also enjoys sniffing and looking but is not wanting down. He is having fun inside so I am not going to push it – one less thing for me to worry about!

I think that’s best. He has plenty of things to play on!
