That is a LOT of snow! It looks beautiful. Does Auggie get snow stuck in his fur?
We are just having interminable rain here….
Margaret, Auggie has a top coat like Bear’s – so silky and ??? so that it almost repels water or at least water and snow stay on top and one shake and it is gone. When it was really cold (10F ) they both would get a little bit of ice around their feet and Auggie on his stomach as they were warm going out so snow melted and then froze quickly. I have this stuff called Musher’s Wax that I put on their feet when it is that cold and it protects their feet plus keeps the ice balls from forming between their toes.
Rainy here, too. I especially love the photo with Auggie up the tree. The snow on the trees is so pretty.

There’s just something about those 2 chairs that I really like. Fun to see them “posing” from season to season.

I like the chairs in different seasons and light also. For me, they tell a story … remembered times as well as imagined times.
My neighbor was working on firewood over here one day when I was gone. He told me later that he needed a break and sat in one of the chairs for a bit and just watched. The road curves around and from the location where they usually sit, you can see quite a bit of the road through the trees. At any rate, he related that it was an enjoyable break.
I think they are kind of magical chairs :) !
