Well. That is true.

Things with the well deteriorated along with the weather. More trucks. That is the mini-excavator being loaded to go away.

Another truck. This truck bears the new pump. The orginal breakage was the fitting that attaches to the pump. But that fittings’ final breakage as they were trying to extract it, sent the old pump to the bottom of the well. The fall combined with the age of the pump and all of the related fittings….yeah, yeah, yeah…replace it all!

A larger excavator machine arrives.

Some cause for celebration?? I was watching from my desk. I am paid by the hour. I was hoping to keep up inside with the hourly outgo that was happening outside…

Done. Water is available in the house. Well, now.

…the well guys ??? and snow… (you can’t see it well in this photo, but it IS mostly snowing and blowing and when it is not doing that it is raining, cold and damp!)

So, Sunday an air whistling sound was emanating from the well. Monday morning the well guy was here toute suite and pronounced something was broken. Today, it is getting fixed. This truck is just the beginning. An excavating something is on its way to dig things up. And on such a nice day to play in the dirt…with VERY cold well water.

The good news is that whether the showers are snow or rain, the April showers will bring May (or June or July) flowers!
