It is still warmer than is typical for September although a cool and hopefully wet change is due on the weekend. But then we are to bounce back to slightly warmer than normal next week.

It was shortly after 9:00 p.m. as I turned out the lights to head for bed when I noticed the moon through the trees and the moon shadows in the woods. Although cool, it was not cold and I dawdled in the dark taking photos and enjoying the night.

Like the Harvest Moon which is bright, large and in the night sky for longer than other full moons…slower to wane, so is our Summer this year.
