The last picture was definitely painted by Van Gogh! Figs are delicious – we get a lot of both green and black ones here. In fact, they often just fall off the trees because people can’t be bothered to pick them. And your Sourdough Pumpkin Oatmeal bread looks delicious!
A very short fig season here I am told. I have been wanting to try fresh figs and got lucky with my timing! I do like the dried, also and can get those year ’round.
This time of year, with the Fall colors, when the light is right … it is spectacular!
