What a great pic of Augie and the deer eyeballing each other! I’m tired of winter also. It’s been a tough year.

Thanks! I have mixed feelings … I am really enjoying the snowshoeing but am a bit tired of the white landscape. I am VERY glad that I do not need to drive if I don’t want to … seems like there have been a lot of tough road conditions.

Auggie and the deer–such a fun photo, Liz. Trying to imagine the thoughts going on in each one’s head. I think the chairs are warming their “bones”.
I’m glad you are enjoying the snowshoeing. I imagine the wrangling of accumulated snow does get old.

Auggie stalks the deer outside. They watch with little concern and then bound off when he gets as close as they are comfortable with. It is pretty funny!
Yes it is the clearing but it has not been too bad (with some help from friends and my snowthrower!) except for my mailbox. Every time the road plow goes by, the mailbox area gets snowed in and it is too heavy for me to deal with. I finally gave up and got a PO box until it melts. I am grateful we get typically good road clearing, though!
